This collection features a variety of hand-written sermons, photographs, certificates and personal effects from the Rev John H. Jackson, one of the premier leaders in the African American community during the 1960s. Rev Jackson has strong ties with Portland Community College.

In preparation for the 50th Anniversary, the historical photos from the Records Center are in the process of being digitized. These photos help describe the rich history of the college, and the hard work it took to get PCC where it is today. This digital repository was created by the Records Center in collaboration with the Library.
